    Hello, Zé,

    We have a little problem with the credits page, in the translators section.

    The system reflects the profiles of the translators that had any approved translation in GlotPress. In our case, it only appears one translator. We omit, therefore, all the translators who make great contributions through the translation of .po files, leaving aside the GlotPress platform.

    Another problem we have is that some translators do not want to be in the credits page.

    Maybe in the future you could develope a privacy tool, eg. in the profile configuration of the WP.org account, allowing us to choose if we want to appear in the credits pages. Or, if it is not possible, a tool or a file on the svn to manually configure the translators that will appear on the credits page for each language.

      How can we change credits from me (dorfun) to pcgaldo? He is the major contributor to WP in galician language, making a great job!

    Hello, Zé,

    I am testing the Twety Eleven theme and I found two problems:

    • When compiling the 3.2-beta2 version on gl.wordpress.org, it does not include the translation files for twentyeleven.
    • Once uploaded on the site manually, I see that some strings of the theme are not translated.

        How about language suggestions in wordpress.org main site? Can you suggest Galego like in wordpress.com main page?

          It’s a detection script, actually (mix of ip to geo and browser settings). What does it show for you on the main site? (and showing more than one might prove difficult…)

            We’re having this problem for Norway… which has two languages… it says “WordPress is also available in and Norsk (nynorsk).”, only linking to the locale I’m not validating — nn_NO. (I maintain Norsk (bokmål) — nb_NO)

    Good night, Zé.

    Currently I have access to the gl_ES branch of BuddyPress in GlotPress. There I can upload .po files in order to update the translation of multiple lines together.

    I need access to the gl_ES branch of the other projects in the same way.

    One question:
    Why DEV version of WordPress (future 3.2) do not show the lines translated previously? Many lines that were translated in 3.1 go away in the development of 3.2.

      Please Zé include pcgalgo and me (dorfun) as validators in all galician projects at GlotPress. Some projects are not in galician yet, like WP for Android.

      Maybe we need to talk with GlotPress developers for some errors with identical lines (not translated).

        There may have been changes between versions. Do you have a specific example?

        Maybe we need to talk with GlotPress developers for some errors with identical lines (not translated)

              Okay, forget the question.

              I think the problem has its roots in the development version, which was created from an incomplete translation. I uploaded an updated .po file to the svn trunk branch, including all translated entries until now:

              GlotPress let me import translations from a .po file in all branches, except in WordPress DEV 3.2. I do not know what happens. Zé, can you take a look to see what is happening?

                Don’t know what could be wrong. Just imported the above .po without any problems (746 translations added). What are the symptoms when you try to import?

                  No import option on the DEV branch for me. There is no button to select the file to upload.

                  If I try to force the upload introducing /import-translations after the branch address in my browser it says: “You are not allowed to do that!”.

                  And now, what happened? Excess of lines?
                  There are 3287 translated lines and 5 more waiting for validation on GlotPress. In the .po file I had uploaded there are 3173 lines, matching the lines of the .pot file of the trunk branch.
