Hi, when will be a 3.4 sub-project created on GlotPress?

Because, if I build a package from development branch, it will end up with 3.5-alpha package, and the next branch is 3.3, which will end up a 3.3.2 package…

Hi Zé, please remove from the validators everybody for the Hungarian language project except me (DjZoNe) and fgyw, thus the others does not show any kind of activity since years.
So, I don’t think it would be fair, to show their names in the Credits pages.

      Removed

It took 24 hours to show up, on the Credits page, right? 🙂

Not sure how long, exactly, but the info is cached, yes.

      Same Problem in ar-AR
There are inactive validators since 4-5 years.
It is ridiculous and unfair to show in the same line names of people who contributed to wordpress several hours with names of others who are contributing and working hard and constantly since many years.
Please remove all validators from ar-AR except me. I will give you later the nickname of my Translation partner.

I don’t know why our requests is being ignored.

Should we see a change right now?
I still see all those people there as translators.

    Hi polyglots,
does anyone know what on earth had happend with translate.wordpress.com?
Beacuse the login tries to redirect to port 8089 what is definitely blocked by corporate firewalls, and our users, who want to contribute can’t log in…

    • DjZoNe 7:30 am on April 1st, 2011 Permalink | Reply

And also bulk actions does not work, because it tries to post to https://translate.wordpress.com:80/ which is also insane…

I think you’re using proxy client like tor browser or you are accessing behind proxy servers. I have experienced such the same problem when I access glotpress using tor browser.

Don’t think so. We definitely broke something and are fixing it.

    • 1:53 pm on April 1st, 2011 Permalink | Reply

Now fixed, sorry guys. Maybe we hadn’t broken anything in a while and it was getting boring… 😛

      • DjZoNe 2:03 pm on April 1st, 2011 Permalink | Reply

        That’s what I call speed… 🙂

        Thanks for this fix 😉

By the way I think you’ve just did that, because of April fools day, huh? 😛

        • 3:42 pm on April 1st, 2011 Permalink | Reply

Actually forgot about April, 1st, but had I remembered, I’d have broken something much much bigger 😀

    Hi,
our local users asked if there is a possibility to provide a permalink to the latest release in the local wp.org sites.
    Like the wordpress.org/latest.zip link does?

Hi, I’ve just updated the wpcom translation to Hungarian. Thus I have no access to wpcom-i18n repsoitory, Iv’e commited it to wordpress-i18n/hu_HU/wpcom. So, somebody please update it 🙂

Another noteable thing is, that the hungarian translation for the Android app is also in good shape, and available to deploy at wordpress-i18n/hu_HU/android

I think you have the same problem as I do. Is there anyone can help us here?

WordPress.COM has no publicly accessible repository that you can commit to.

We have, however, no validator for Android (hu) . Should I add you?

    • DjZoNe 3:57 pm on November 27th, 2010 Permalink | Reply

      Zé,
Yes please add me as a validator for android hu.

I know that, wpcom repo has no public commit. That’s why I upload it to the given location. It’s up to you if you want to update the version in the wpcom-i18n repository, or not. The current state in wpcom-i18n is 13% or so, the version i we have in wordpress-i18n/hu_HU/wpcom is around 45%…

You can get validator status at wpcom’s GlotPress project and there you will be able to import PO files. PO and MO files at wpcom’s i18n repository are files that are generated from GlotPress.

      Sounds fair 🙂

      • 11:50 am on November 29th, 2010 Permalink | Reply

        Ok, summing up:

        • .org translations already have a validator & committer to svn: http://wordpress2you.com/ (and 5 others)
        • .org Android translations have *no* validator, I added you
        • .com translations have *no* validator, I added you (meaning that you can import your .po there)

Thank you very much Zé 🙂

Maybe I’m lame, but at http://translate.wordpress.com/projects/wpcom/hu/default I can’t see the import link, next to the Export, where it should be.
Loging off and on does not help either.
          Am I missed something?

            Strange… Try now, please?

            • DjZoNe 12:55 pm on November 29th, 2010 Permalink | Reply

              Now it’s there 🙂

              Thanks 🙂

Now, when I try to import, I got this:

                Whoops!

There was a small systems error. Please try refreshing the page and if the error is still there drop us a note and let us know.

Inspite of the error, the import seems to be completed…

Ah well, 4200+ strings is maybe the reason… I’ll check.

By the way what is the generation frequently of po files in wpcom-i18n repository?

Every 200 approved strings, give or take a few.
